GRACE CHEN

I’m Grace and I am a second-year cognitive science and piano performance major at Vanderbilt University. Through my educational path along with an ongoing volunteer experience at a nursing home for people with Alzheimer’s Disease and dementia, I discovered my strong interests in the fields of brain health, cognitive processes, and neurological conditions and diseases. I am extremely passionate about gender equity as well and hope to continue serving underrepresented communities in my career through acceptance, alliance, and advocacy. I plan to work in healthcare in the future, especially through chemical research and further analysis of alternative therapies on patient outcomes both in and out of the clinical setting. In my free time, I love hiking, swimming, and watching sunsets with friends.
